+1 Could have seen them in Wolverhampton when they were billed as SPOTS, 'mate didn't get me a ticket. Did get to see The Clash, The Jam, Ian Jury & the Blockheads and many ,many more bands at Barbarella's in Brum.
Snow Patrol seem a little incongruous by their inclusion... they’re still going aren’t they? And they’re not quite on the same pedestal as the others?!
Yes Snow Patrol are the odd one out I agree, not sure if they are still going, think that they have issues. Maybe should have included Wings and CSNY instead.
With collecting vinyl again in the last few years, and not having my 'heavy rock' blinkers on that I must of worn in the 80's, i'm discovering bands that I may of heard of but never listened to. One that I wished I saw live in the 80's was Utopia (Todd Rundgren) There's probably loads more, but my eyes haven't opened properly to read the album names yet! (They are in alphabetical order though! )
Ive got 7 of them 'cubes' (swedish furniture) full, is it around 70-80 in each cube? Expecting a delivery from Vinylnet any day now for another 5
