Bit rushed but I am hopefully getting better. Must get a tripod to work on some night shots.

 

yeah tripods are great - i have a decent 3m one and the gorilla pod !

 

That's really good. Do you do the time lapse with the camcorder or during the editing?

I have a GoPro taking shots every few seconds which I render into a movie using Quicktime - Open Image Sequence. I then edit it in Final Cut Pro X.

 

How do you manage to pan so smoothly without a tripod?

 

The movie is shot at a very wide angle allowing you to zoom in and pan from one side to the other in the edit.

Next up will be a Quadracopter with a GoPro mounted to it.

 

I really need to treat myself to final cut - keep pushing I movie to its limits ... I plan on filming a short film next year so need to up my equipment / Rob a bank

 

Really enjoyed that - captured the essence of a V Dub show perfectly !!
