Thanks all Back from the vets now - temperature & all vitals ok, though tummy and rump tender which could just be the pain. Wouldn't let the vet near his leg (little sod) so had a shot of painkiller on top of the anti-inflammatory I gave him earlier, to hopefully help him get comfy for the night. He is at least now lying down (he leapt up every time he tried to stretch his leg earlier) on the sofa so better than he was. Mwah to the The Love Bay! As you were.
Panick over then. Dogs are like kids rushing around hurting themselves but not noticing until they stop rushing about aren't they?
poor Zoe and Womble, hope your both feeling better today, Zoe, gargle with gin, all those botanicals must do something for a poorly throat
BTW ...... you're a Yorkshire lass, I thought they were tough & stoical. Just like Airedales Now harden up. >
N'awww thanks for the concern all. About half an hour after getting home from the emergency vets, Womble crashed out on the sofa for the night. And would you credit it, the little sod is just about tickety-boo today : So we're not sure whether it was his tummy or his leg that caused him so much pain, but he's in much better spirits today. I struggled through a presentation this morning and then red carded myself home. Normal service will now be resumed.
You need to gargle salty water hun 3 times a day Hmmm im sure its water but it maybe somthing else salty
