So which table have you got / bought / want (not not want!) which size and why? Have an Ipad 2 for work and it's great and accompanies myniphone 4s really well. So.... Does the tablet need to 'match' your phone ideally? Looking to get one for my niece.. She has an iphone so if I get an ipad or ipad mini then messages and photos, music etc will match etc etc... If I get a Nexus 7 then it seems the 7" is the flagship product but size is smaller than ipad... Or then a Samsung Galaxy tab 2 7" or 10.1"?? Android will be new to her as well... Arghhhhh... The. 3g... Worth getting or not do you think based on the damned things not much use without access to Internet (ignore tethering...) and then price and stock availability. I appreciate there is no clear cut choice here but interested in your experiences and opinions.......
I've got the nook tablet hd.... not put it down since I got it... really nice to hold... just the right size and I get access to thousands of books at the touch of a button... I'm on it now lol Makes my phone feel useless actually... except of course when there is no wifi... its been great so far, I got it free as my uni gave me a card when I started that gets .£200 on a year to spend at blackwell books ... I didn't buy books I got this instead... I personally can't stand apple things... mac, iphone e.t.c. so this is perfect for me I guess its personal preference as I know some love the apple technology...and the benefit of it like you mentioned would be that you can sync with a phone x xxx
I've got an iPad Mini as it suits me down to the ground it's just right for surfing, iBooks for my book library and the apps for day to day things!
I have an ipad3. Using it now, in fact nearly always use it for this forum, as it saves me sitting at my desk and I'm not too keen on Tapatalk on my phone. iPad3 is a brilliant piece of kit.
I've just got a samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1, I've got an iphone 4 i haven't yet got round to trying to link the 2, and still prefer the laptop for surfing, though the tab will do it quite happily. The main reason i got the tab though is because PCworld are doing it for £269, and when you buy any case for it (£12.99) you get £80 cash back so its a very well worked out tablet (IMO comparable to the ipad 2 which Mrs MH has) for under £200.
I'm still using the original iPad. It's great. Had it since they came out with no problems. I would get another one but they do cost Money. Got a new galaxy coming got it free with the NX1000 camera. So will see what it's like
