I`ve had a `kite material` van cover since 2003 ,use it all year round and its been fantastic .keeps it dry ,no condensation no pait rubbage ...literally can`t fault it but after 9 years i ripped it today after coming back from camperjam ....It was bought from a guy at vanfest 2003 ..... What is the best all year outdoor cover available now ?
To be fair I've got a jk one and it's sound sits well and keeps it dry how long it will last I don't know but wish I had got it earlier
Ive been using a Hamilton Classics one for over a year now, great bit of kit, multi layered with a soft lining and breathable. They say it can be put over a wet motor and it will dry of underneath! Recomended! simo
Hamilton Classics - “Semi Tailored Shape for excellent fitting to all models.” “…we do not recommend a fully tailored exterior cover as this fits the car too well and restricts the air circulation.” Simo, looking at your pics I wouldn’t describe it as an excellent fit but there is certainly room for air to circulate. It should fit over a poptop with room to spare.
Fits well, i have a pop top westy and room to spare! Before this i had a stormforce one, but that was too snug and kept riding up over the bumpers Would have been fine for a tintop tho, but i ended up returning it and got the hamilton one. simo
