IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER! Ran a mates home on chip fat and there was no noticeable damage. Did stink though.
for my 2 pence worth , i enjoy this ongoing question because it gets everyone fired up , opinions come in , left ,right and centre, educated by degree guys , educated by hands on experience guys , people who have spoken to their mates/neighbours, this one question has me pulling up a chair and opening a bag of popcorn , it is interesting cos its opinionated, it seems to fire up the blood , like no other question asked , and , (maybe obviously?) there will never be total agreement between us all, but still i enjoy this learning experience and resolve to change my oil brand everytime this one is discussed, me MORRIS, (YUP , IKNOW !) WHATTODO? and, do any of you guys , on pulling up , let your engine run on/idle for a minute re heat being "carried away" or switch off immediately?<<<<only a question .
