Where is my water bottle

Reasonably new to this game... i have a 73 late bay, but can't find where my water bottle is for the front windscreen wipers..... Sorry for the dumb question!

On the drivers side behind the kick panel, under the steering wheel area

 

What's on the passengers side?
When I opened the drivers side bottle yesterday it made a noise as if there was some 'fizz' in the bottle- is there any reason for this?

 

Yeh you need to pump it up if its not electric ,little tube their with bike valve on ,not to much thou!!

 

you have to put air back in to it when you put top on..

Let me explain before you blow into the top.
there should be a small tube lurking nr there, with a valve top. used a foot pump or compressor to put about 30 psi into it, else you will say you cant get any water on the screen

 

And not too much pressure else it sprays down the steering column like mine last night....

I've striped mine out of the steering column and fitted a micro switch and a in line pump do I don't have pressure it

 

Sh1te.... there is no tube with a valve nearby... lets hope JK sell them.


So just so i'm clear.....
1. Put the water & screen wash into the bottle
2. put the lid on & pump the bottle up with a footpump?
3. Enjoy a clear windscreen!

 

Dont over pump - or you will break the pipes!

 

We have people to clean the screen for us where I live
