Where can I find and whats a Hammock like this called?

We where out on a camper trip this weekend and started speaking to some lovely people with a late bay (who I told about TLB of course) After chatting with them for a while and taking a look around there bus we where told they had some Hammocks in there pop-up. We checked them out and really want some the same as we have exactly the same pop as them. (The one that goes straight up)

Is there a name for these types of Hammocks that you put up in the pop like this and can you find them anywhere?
Does anyone have a pair for sale?
There where hammocks both sides that folded in under poppers

I've got a set in my van ......well, until I ripped every thing out for the paint job

they seem robust enough for the kids but I'm not sure I'd try sleeping in them myself ;D

I'm sure there were some for sale in the classified section a while back

Yeah they're defo Devon hammocks, I've been trying to source a pair of these for a few weeks too. So far I found a single one from ebay, there are a few every now and then appear on there, some have stupid starting prices though.

I tried looking about for any one that was making them new but came up blank, there are a few people though who do new canvasas for them so the main thing when you get some is to make sure the metal work is all there and solid.

I'm going to go to the local blacksmiths tomorrow and see if he can make me a second one using the other one I have as a guide. If he can do it and at a decent price I'll let you know and maybe will be able to get a few made up.

 

How much is a mint set like those in the photos worth

 

They quite often pop up on ebay. Definitely Devon's as I have some in mine.

I spoke to my local blacksmiths today, he had a look at the single one I've got and recons he'll be able to reproduce it but not sure on how much it'll cost as its more a case of being time consuming than anything else. I did mention that it might not be just a one off as some more people may well be interested so when my van is in to him for some other work later in the week he'll have a proper look and try to give me a price. I'll keep you all updated as and when I hear more.

 

Cheers s&s pls do keep me updated. Im slightly concirned about the price they maybe getting them made up.
