When life makes no sense stand back for a while and it all becomes clear

True dude. Though I'd say reality rather than clarity. Perhaps we mean the same. Reality can be difficult to accept if it means your dreams are a non-starter...

 

But when the reality of the situation is no where near a true reflection of said reality it can be rather hard to swallow. Especially when you personally have been made out to be the one in the wrong due to others lies and manipulation.

So what do you do then? Wait for karma? Or take matters in to your own hands?

 

Right and wrong doesn't come into it. Reality is reality no matter how hard to swallow.
BTW I'm in a similar position to you. I have the clear moral high ground but this counts for nought.
It's hard to swallow, but we just have to accept and move on, trying not to look backwards.

I could choose to think life, future plans, family home and everything I ever worked for have been taken from me in one hit that was completely out of my control and be very bitter about it.

Instead I choose to say I'm now free and to move in a completely new direction with new plans and be happy.
The reality is just the same, I'm just accepting it instead of dwelling on the the rights and wrongs which would only serve to make me unhappy. I don't like being unhappy.

Sorry don't agree yes we can make decisions along the way on what turning we take but sometimes the road is chosen for us

I try and live in the now with a small eye on the future and not have any regreats just use the experience to help make decisions

 

I know mate, sorry if it sounded pompous. It's taken a long time to get to this mental balance and I wouldn't have belived I'd get there a year ago.

RE: women and relationship break-ups - you fight, you loose. The law is on their side and doesn't care if they're in the wrong. They make stuff up - they're believed. You tell the truth, you're not believed. It's helpful to realise this sad fact - you're a bloke, so you're wrong in the eyes of the law.
