I have today booked this years holiday and its the first Mrs Mabel and I will be going on, on our own, since our daughter arrived 20 odd years ago. She managed to wangle two weeks away with us last year citing "i'm a uni student with no money" whereas our son (just turned 18) stayed at home. We decided 21 is too old to go away with mummy and daddy and just assumed that the boy would prefer to have the house to himself (and his mates). Gonna be a bit strange being on our own and Mrs Mabel is about down about it. Can't support them forever..........
They some time come with us for weekends but not for a proper holiday saying that me and bridge didn't know what to say to each other the last holiday
Still managed to bag a family holiday 3 years ago. 29! Get in. Lol It was grenada too but it's kinda an agreement with my bros and parents that we forego Christmas and every 5 or so years we have a family holiday instead.
