I cant settle on a bus for longer than a year . Havnt had my hightop 5 minutes and im already thinking about trading it in for a westy. I wish i could be more like the people who can hold onto a bus for years but im just never happy with what ive got. Every bus ive had has been super cool but im never content
Give up then: You obviously don't really like them!? Or buy one of those coach built T3s, they look superb!
'never happy with what I've got' is the key statement here. maybe its not about the van at all, but more to do with being unsatisfied with what you already have in your life. perhaps it would be better to do some thinking before selling your van and buying another one.
You need to strip one of every part Then start to clean up and paint every part before refitting it That should see you on the path to keeping the same bus for a few years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sell it then, they're Marmitee for camping even T'4 and 5's are, get a Caravan, Big tent or a Motorhome
maybe you are having a sort of midlife crisis. instead of selling and buying yet another van, you could spend some of the proceeds on a round the world adventure.
Nearly 20 years for me with the same bus. Full width bed, decent head height, able to move around - a layout that worked for me, chuck in some memories and experiences. Then I had it properly restored knowing I'd keep it for life. Bought my house so I could build a suitable garage for it! My aim was do it once, do it right. Camp loads more in it now than in my younger days, so may refresh it with a removable cooker. Only you know if you are changing vehicles because you get bored, or because it isn't quite the right van for your camping and other needs? If you do change it for another, work out exactly what you need from a camper. My recent affair with a different moonraker camper made me realise how much I love my faithful old van!
