What's this for?

i've got a fair bit of this rubber and can't for the life of me remember what it's for... could be type 1 or 2. any ideas?

that's what i thought but could also be brazilian T1 engine lid seal iirc.... ??

dunno, quite a bit rolled up in a bag. in the past i've bought all new seals for both bug and bus so could be owt! :/

 

Actually, i did for all other seals but felt that the mexican seal on deck and boot of the bug was less of a water trap than the original. (it fits on the lids, rather than body)

 

quite a bit sounds like roof seal - it's a bit like a westy one

 

hmm, but i have a devon... maybe it was a mistake buy (there have been many)? suppose i could checj the camper roof but it's cold and dark and, and, and, i thought i'd ask those more knowledgeable

 

westy ones the squashy bit is on the side, dormobiles it's on the bottom.
i can't remember which devon roof you have - there have been quite a few over the years.

 

could be for roof as there's over 10 metres of it (got my metre rule out)
trying to sort stuff out, esp stuff i don't need. but dunno what i don't need until i know what it is!

 

hmm, a bit of reserach and it looks like it may be a universal type pop top seal. in which case, i don't need it.

it's in a bag marked 'made in germany 423-6180' although this could be a bag for summat else :/ i wish i'd kept things in a bit more order

hell fire, that's expensive and i've got 10.5 metres. suppose i should put it in the for sale section as i can't see that i'd need it.... (now worrying that i may and haven't checked the bus seal for ages).
