what's the worst thing you have ever been called in work?

Make tea.

When on my apprentiship back in the day the boss used to always shout.

" oi make tea" at me so I think that he though my name was.

Cheeky bugger

 

I am a school teacher, the list is endless. The trick is the response.

 

polite ! now, there "s not much wrong wiv being reffered to as "polite " it"s that the bloke speaking to me said " your so polite and your from Glasgow "..... yeah, ok , now i get ya !

 

When I was first qualified I went back to a place I worked as a student. I had just been laying down the law about being called Mr and being treated with respect in a somewhat pompous manner, when a delivery driver opened the front door and shouted:

Hey sonny, where do you want these boxes?

Deflated me somewhat. They all had a laugh though
