What's the story behind your username?

Couldnt see another thread about this so I thought I'd start one.

What made you choose your username, is there a story behind it or was it the first thing that came into your head?

Mine is Mabel - my beautiful dog who grew up with my children and is remembered by us all still.

 

Daisy-Mae ... that is the name of our 1978 LHD Westfalia ... so called as Daisy may go or Daisy may not ...
To be fair, these days she starts first time even if she hasn't gone anywhere for a month or so but we won't be changing her name!

 

awww Mabel... mines also my dog.... he's called Charlie-Pie.... he's tiny and we have many names for him like pook, pookie man, baby-man, the pie-minister my nephews call him, charles, tiny-one, pie-pie, tiny-pie and many more... haha pookatron...

could go on forever... anyway he's called tiny-pie and i do a craft stall thing which i call tiny-pie creations...so ot's just stuck really... so yeh... x

Wish I had thought about mine and come up with something better.

 

Mine involved a (red) theatrical smoke effect, the school organ and the fire brigade. Oh, and a donation to the fire service. There was no fire risk, but someone called them anyway...because wood burns with red smoke

 

My bay is Lime green ( actually to be a pedant, Porsche Chartreuse) and is a 1979. We call it Emil which is Lime backwards. Ill get my coat.

 

Correct - you have made yourself bland - there are many with names of a similar format to yours and TBH you all merge into a fuzz.
Appeal to the authorities for name change - they have the power!

 

its a german import (i suppose in one way or another they all are) its means " the snail bus" in german "schnecke"

 

I'm a hippy with a droopy mustache. My parents named me Zed because they were hippies too. Those drug-addled flower power people have a lot to answer for.

It's two things I can remember - I was an old fart when I joined.
