What's it worth?

  1. Been offered a rolling shell (shell/ 2 good cab doors/ front beam/ good chassis/ good looking front clip/ engine access panel fitted in rear/ no glass or trim/ roof fubar'd hence the scrapage. Offered for £500. Does this sound right? I need a side panel opposite the door which will cost me over £200 delivered and my doors need repaired so not too far off really.

What's the thoughts of the experts on here?

  2. Doesn't sound bad to me.

  3.
  4. Just weigh up the cost of buying those parts new vs the condition of the shell parts and what can be used. If it's worth it, get it...

  5. Offer £400 and see what comes back ...

  6. If the cab doors are in real good condition then its worth it just for those

  7. He wanted £500 for the shell minus the doors but not worth that to me. I'd pay £500 with the doors tho.

  8. well it sounds good for the money, if you can use it / sell some of it then its worth it :D

  9. rickyrooo1

rickyrooo1 Hanging round like a bad smell

theres a chap on here after a rear end to make a trailer you could go halves and do a deal

  10. I'll keep that in mind. Seems like he wants a little more than I offered. Be a shame to lose it over £100 eh?
What sort of money would a front clip fetch? It looks in good nick bar for the roof section which is fibreglassed so only really any good to the pillars.

Would I get £250 for that? I could recoup some coin then.

  11. It's only worth what people will pay for it this day and age.

Trawl the wanted section on here and see who's after what and see if you can flog off the parts quickly or you'll just have another wreck lying about gathering dust...
