Whats it worth? wiring loom

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Keith.H, Mar 3, 2013.

  1. Ive been posting up some bits for sale and some free stuff, pricing the free stuff was easy! anyway i have a wiring loom that came as a spare, what would be a reasonable price to ask for it? didn't want to stick it on for offers as i guess that would be a no no

Hmm used looms aren't worth much really, possible useful for a template. I would give £30 for everything in the picture for parts

  4. Not a bad start for someone without a loom. I'd cut the existing connectors off and crimp newies on. £30 sounds right.

  5. I reccon you could get £15 - £20 each for indicator and wiper switch and fuse box £10 - £20

i just paid 34 for the ignition switch and 4 short wires

  7. would be interested in the two switches, wiper and indicator if you split it all.

  8. Would be interested in everything in the picture, bit don't want to start a Dutch auction against fellow TLB-ers.

How do you want to play it? Work out what you want to charge for it then give davidoft first dibs for the lots and me second? Then if its too much start splitting it?

  9. Ive made this awkward for myself haven't i?, i should of said im thinking of buying one whats it worth?
Balancing the posts what if i say £40? btw i dont think there is an ign switch in there
if Davidoft only wants it as a possible template? then im happy for MadFrankie to have it
Do you need the wiper switch? if not £25 for the rest and £15 for the wiper switch to Earlylatebay?
How many posting rules have i broken?

  10. I'm happy with that idea...I would have suggested about £30 too...

  11. Depending what engine it is from, depends on the price but if it is a known working loom then I think you are all bidding far too low, some of these looms are no longer available to buy new from JK etc, and the others you can get cost a small fortune.

If it is of unknown quantity then that is different.
