I think naming a person (child) is very important - people do live up to their names. For Boys, Name someone Rex and they're going to be pushy. Name them Brian or George and they'll be solid and dependable. Name them Styev and get confused - everyone my age is names Steve or Paul. Call them Paul and they WILL be a crash repair guy or a chippy. Ladies: Call them Michelle and they'll be sexy but maybe realise they don't have to try so get fat. Call them Sarah and they'll be posh. But call them Jackie and they'll be salt of the earth. I've met 3 Jackie's lately and they're all very similar - self motivated, sorted, slim, earthy and sexy. I called mine Oli and Josh - I hoped generous and self depricating. Maybe it depends on who you know of that name firstly. I knew a yound lady called diedre once (as in coronation street). She hated it and it really didn't suit her. She changed it to petal blossom or something silly but that was even worse. People need the right name to go forwards in life.
