What's a complete 1600 tp engine worth

After visiting fellows speed shop today i have made my mind up and going to carry out a subaru conversion to my bus

So what is my 1600 tp engine worth, complete with all bit's, heat exchangers, exhaust, carb, tinware etc

I have a figure in my head but would like to know if thats realistic

 

Average price I had seen while looking on fleabay was £500ish

 

I was thinking slightly less then that as i have no history of the engine, i have only done 1 journey in the bus from south wales back to stafford, it ran fine but i wouldn't really want to guarantee that it was a good un if you know what i mean

 

No known history, gotta be £300. But it's worth what someone is willing to pay I guess.
