Motörhead’s Motörhead 7” picture single, still in its clear sleeve tucked away for a rainy day!

I think Bark at the moon by Ozzy was probably my first CD, or possibly a Dio album..

  10. My first CD player was a Kenwood which I still have 33 years later, and it still works fine:thumbsup:
When I got it I purchased the Jam Snap and Simple Minds Sparkle in the Rain both of which I also still have. Mind you I almost never play CDs anymore, I just stream everything.

  11. Think there was only 12 (I think) when I bought mine and my first was 'like a virgin' Madonna....both are still around but a little worn in usual places ie the bit in the middle!

May have been Mindfruit by Opus III, but I’m not sure.
I know I had to order it from HMV of Bath. What year did cd’s come out?

Same. Needed something to feed the new CD160 we had just bought in the Philips Staff Shop.

And ripping that was really hard using the PCs of a few years later. It took much longer to encode as MPEG than to play it. Like hours.

Don't be silly, it was a wind up Victrola CD player.
