What sort of tree is this?

Guessing some sort of Pine?
Need an accurate (ish) identification.

 

A wooden one

 

Could be a red Norwegian but i'm no expert.

It's a bay pine ..
Rustus oldbus.

 

Let it grow for another hundred years and you could have a phone pole out of that . oh hang on ,we don't have phone poles anymore

A lot smaller than when fully grown. A proper tree.AKA Weymouth Pine..



A least it is not one of the ickle conifers in pots beloved of garden centres that is basically a variant of Leylandia(20+ m high by 10m wide)

 

Pointless as it gives neither fruit or nuts.

 

It's homo erectus vulgaris. I've seen it on Gardener's World.

 

How about the chocolaty bit around them....does it give that at least? Reminds me, must trim my Frys Turkish Delight shrub.
