what regulator do i need

Hi you electric buffs - i have a 043903023a Bosch alternator what regulator do it require ???????????

nop simple question i understand there are two types can you use either or does it need to be matched

 

Is the one you've got at the moment external (in a can) or does the thick red cable go straight to the alt?

 

if u remove the one you got the no.s will be on it , also , if u got a say gfs local you can match em up
