What oil?

What oils best for my 1600 tp engine?

 

Oo you know this one causes arguments.

20/50 mineral oil should be used for old motors

Cue the debate.

 

Ha Ha Ha Ha let me see, now then some people say that forget it

 

I just use 10/40 in mine, had no probs

 

Duck oil in mine

 

10/40 mineral here...

Although I have heard that freshly squeezed fish oil really perks the engine up after a long rest.

 

Whale oil

 

20w50 mineral oil for me

 

Cod Liver for me

 

Snake oil doesent work well though

 

Straight 30, and petrol, the petrol was just a by product of some weirdness going on in my engine though.

 

10 40 is whats recommened owen nw

 

20/50 for us, but have you tried chip pan fat?

We use 15/40, and I've no idea if it is the best one, but it's what the guy who had the bus before us ran it on, and he seemed to know what he was doing.

 

I'm using tesco mineral oil 10/40 for older petrol engines !
