I've succumbed to the lure that an accuspark distributor might be best for my bus after my love for points and condenser hit an all time low last weekend with another failure of those little shiny bits

Drove my bus to my mate's place down the road who's a pro mechanic and reckons he might be able to fix the steering problem which remains a mystery. Personally, I'm not feeling very confident at this stage. 'It's fixed and now drives like a proper Bay'. That's all I want to hear. I have just done more wire brushing (Mr B at work and its such lovely weather I can't get on and sandblast as not got anywhere out of weather thats practical, so wire brushing it was), still its another step closer! Considering I only went out to sort the seat and seatbelt out in the beetle, and ended up sidetracking when in garage , a five minute job turned into a few hours
