just had an ebay frenzy - bought a MIO sat nav with UK and US maps for £50 - costs £35 to rent for two weeks so thought I'd buy a second hand one for my holibobs. And picked up a couple of CDs and some cufflinks all for £10.

Today I paid the Royal Mail some Import VAT on my Gene Berg shifter which I ordered from the California factory. I should at last have it in my hands and fitted sometime next week. It took 2 days to arrive from the US and 8 days for UK Customs to sort their side of things out. Useless. I also bought a kick panel and some bitumen pads to stick to the inner panels of the bus to reduce 'drumming'. Everyday something different's bought and everyday I become more and more broke. Good this, innit, owning a VW camper............
