What can you fit to the front of your Bus?

  1. We've all seen spare wheels front mounted and indeed the radiator thingy's on Brazilians, I've also seen storage boxes, Bull Bars, T-Bars and home made bumpers.
    Does anyone know the rules?
Could you fit a bike rack (provided it doesn't impare vision?) or maybe something else?

  3. Looks like the driver / passengers will get impaled on handle bars in a collision. Not a good idea IMHO.

  4. What about the poor pedestrian. Even a very slow collision would cause them some serious damage!

  5. It used to be if its spikey and non original the mot mat would frown a bit. It was ok for original; when you think of some of the old Detroit steel they were like chromed combine harvesters with all the spikes. Keep all lights and number plate clear there should be no probs

  6. Its also illegal if plod decides it is!

I love this idea. It reminds me of that film "The Cars that Ate Paris"

  9. I don't know what the rules are but that looks evil.

In my case though a new front would be ideal fitted to the front of my bus

  14. Exactly - and for that reason alone it is likely not to be legal in Europe / UK
