I am going to put a type 1 engine in my bay but have no bolts what size do i need to bolt engine in please and where can i get them
The bottom two are nuts, one's a bolt and the one on the starter side is a D-bolt. Should be able to get them from VW Heritage or similar.
My van was missing the D bolt through the starter when I bought it. Obviously too much of a fiddle for the mexican mechanic to refit. I got a cheap 2nd hand one from Megabug - v speedy delivery.
