    E5E8B15A-9291-4A46-9F7B-34EFDD0DC623.jpeg As I’m on a few days holiday I’ve headed for nearest beach from Sheffield. It’s at cleethorpes. Beach nearly empty, maybe cos it’s 10 degrees colder than Sheffield!

    I’m afraid the East Coast not my fave idea of a seaside town, (as I’m a poncey southerner) maybe it was some subconscious thoughts of the town planners when they named nearby Grimsby and Scunthorpe:)

    I was aiming for quickest to get there and this was 1 1/2 hrs. I’m back home in the morning so didn’t want a long drive. I fancied Formby on west Coast but extra hour travel.
    Sandilands looks nice, also East coast but again took longer to get to.
