  1. Went and looked at a really cool sign written van this afternoon , rotten as a rotten pear as been left outside with no windows for at least 6 years . It was wearing P reg plates so 76 ish .. it did however have a CU engine and 6 rib gearbox . Engine complete ... so value ?

  2. Any van with aV5 2k

  3. For parts ? Engine £250 if manky rotten. £400 if running but rough. £700 if half decent. ?? T25 gearboxes never seem to go for much for some reason. @davidoft would know

  5. Manky rotten T25 engines where everything is rotten are worth no more, 6 rib t25 are not the same as bay ones lower value

  6. But it's a '76... why would it be T25?

  7. it is a late bay .. it had engine hatch so was always Type 4 engined bus . I never took gearbox code but all engine tin was fitted and all looked ok I just presumed engine was swopped for later one . It had twin solex’s and air filter box etc

    No V5

  8. I didn't read it properly. A CU code would have come from a T25 not a bay. My little brain put 2 & 2 together and came up with 6 :D
