im still on with my interior revamp but as the bus didn’t come with a complete interior, and second hand bits are now the holy grail I need more help please!! I’m missing the wood grain curtain track covers so thought I could make some, but I need to know the sizes please. How long, how wide and how thick! Hopefully I’ll have enough offcuts of laminate leftover to complete the job. Also what is the edging used? Is it similar to the rubber trim used on the pop top roof rack thingy... Finally there should be headline strips either side of the pop top hole...are these ply? And are they edged with anything? And is it covered in white vinyl too. I’ve tried to find some clear pics online but struggling a bit to see exactly what’s what... So if anyone could please share some pics I’d be forever grateful! Cheers!
I used birch ply (Matt varnish) for my head liner and the panels each side of the pop top opening. I was fortunate to have the original rubber trim for the edges.
Do you have the measurements of how wide and thick the curtain covers are please. I guess I can cut them out of ply and glue laminate to them..
