Great news! The problem with going to the stars was the whole faster than light thing. Scientists may have discovered a particle that travel faster than light. If true that means, if we can get it together and get past all the petty c**p we all squabble about today (countries, money, oil, food, race, religion blah blah blah) then we're on our way O0 Bill says so: Bill Hicks - It's Just A Ride
Not being a famous physicist, I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that anything with mass cannot travel at the speed of light or faster as it would crush itself, as the closer you get to the speed of light, mass increases exponentially ? In my younger years I used to travel through space and time by eating specialised forms of fungi, weird how things move on :fish:
yep, their only talking about neutrinos so no mass there.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-15017484 Just riffing on future fantasies with Mr Hicks O0
