I had the day off today to go and start looking at secondary schools for my boy. That part of the day went well - nice school, headmaster who was approachable etc. But we also had a call from my daughter's school to say that she had had to be rescued from the pool, during her 1st swimming lesson and was a bit shaken up! Thankfully she's OK. Then I was leading a pony back to his stable when he bolted cos of a tractor. Just spent 3 1/2 hours in A&E to be told I have a spiral fracture of my middle finger and they can't do anything tonight. so back home now and off the the fracture clinic tomorrow to see if I need an op to pin it. I'm off to take some painkillers . Night all
When I first read it, I thought it said SPINAL fracture ..............so could be a lot worse!!! Hope your daughter's OK and it's nothing too serious that you've broken!!!

They say all bad things come in threes, so hopefully you'll have had your crappy luck in a day! Trying to make you feel better, not sure if it's worked? All the best and hope the wee one, the horse and your finger are ok!?
Cheers guys. You are right. It could've been a lot worse. Went to the fracture clinic today. Only to be told the a&e doc had booked the appointment for tomorrow. :
