They would attempt to buy the entire county of Devon for £15k and still say they were doing you a favour.
Sure but come on, they have Pip Schofield in the ads! A lot of people would sell their gran and assorted offspring into slavery if The Schofe tells them to
I have no idea. I was just wondering what type of company makes an advertising slogan out of what is clearly a lie. They probably get you to put your registration in and then your personal details and as you say spam you to bits.
Not a lie, they will buy anything. Whether you wish to sell it for what they offer is another matter entirely.
My 944, T2 & T53b no longer show up on their list of models, although they once offered £535 for the Porsche.
I entered the T5 for “fun” and the valuation wasn’t terrible but essentially trade in value and not what it’s probably worth in the current bloated staycation market!
They give you a value which sounds OK - then you take it round to them and they inspect it and find all sorts of faults and give you half their original offer - happened to friend of mine.
Offered me £130 for a Ford Ka and then said the fees were £50 so I would get £80 cash! I advertised it for free at £325 and accepted £300.
When we bought our golf convertible we drove it home from the garage and for a laugh put it in buy any car dot com. From memory they offered us about 5k less than wed just bought it for. Which is a hell of a depreciation for about a five mile drive.
