I've seen a pair of weber idf 40 manifolds for sale for my type 1 engine, it says there short manifolds are they the right ones or are there longer ones and do I need them, I also need a good linkage bar, which one should I go for
The short manifolds will be fine for your bus. They can be a bit awkward to fit on Bugs. CSP bellcrank , is a nice quality linkage. Thats the one I've got on the bug Dells. It is simple to fit and looks good. It only came 2nd to a Berg one in a volksworld write-up. CSP £90, Berg about £200+. Me giving tech advice, is this a first?
