I have a spare engine and box for my van in me mates barn, my intention is if my van goes bang in any way I swap my my ansilaries across and use the spare.
I went to pallet wrap it today, a lad that works at the farm noticed the carbs and showed some interest in them as he reckons they are weber downdraft 40s and would go a treat on his kit car, I can't find anything on them apart from Weber made in Italy stamped on the side.
I took some pictures and hoped someone might be able to identify them so I can research them a bit.
    Cheers Dave

After much hunting around, going on the pictures alone I reckon that they are 40 or 44 IDF's so I think I will have them off tomorrow manifolds and all clean them up and get a closer look, shame to cut those manifolds and make them fit a kit car in my eyes.
