Webbers leakng

  1. I've got twin ict 34's fitted to the van and they are leaking out of the spindle where the leaver throttle control thing goes through the carb.

Do I repair them or chuck them and buy a new set.

Are they hard things to repair? Will it last? Who can do it?

  2. It seems to leak more when I've stopped and the pressure is still in the lines.

Do you reckon they are easy to replace. Is a case of pulling one out and shoving the new in. If so at that price it's got to be worth a go.

  3.
  4. Prob worth changing the spindle seals, but check the float valves are cutting the fuel off correctly as well. May be the float bowl overflowing.

  5. Got the same problem on my 34 ICTs ( less than a year old from Heritage)

Dry as a bone when running, wet when parked up. It seems to be leaking from the brass below the float chamber.

Does anyone know if a rebuild kit come with the correct seals for this bit?

  6. Fix your float valves.

  7. I'm being dense, is it here? ( you'd never guess I haven't done one before)

  8. I replaced My spindle bushes thingies and havnt had a leak yet. But I do get evaporation after a journey you can hear the fuel bubbling in the left carb.
Just got back from driving it over to France and it ran sweet as a nut.

  9. Cheers rusty

Are they the ones numbered 26 and are they the grey and black rings next to the 34 in the picture?

  10. Cheers ;D
