No... Luton 115ish 115ish Listened to the call of the sea (or it’s fair maidens at least) and had to stay. I get twitchy now if I go inland for too long
I do get about, you know. Also, my wife’s family are very widespread across the uk. I like living here, so why should I want to move? I’ve been to a lot of other countries, too, but there’s no place like home. I guess some of us can settle, and some of us can’t.
I was meaning "sympathy" would be there, but not appropriate ... If I hadn't met my SO I'd still be within about 5 miles of where I was born most likely .... except that was in London and I don't think I would have stuck there for ever ... Too crammed and unfriendly busy for my liking.
Lol. I’ve lived in 14 different houses and flats, here.Trying to live in em all before the Londoners do!
Whilst I was a child my father was an Insurance salesman who worked his way up to being a company director. His ambition and eagerness to please those above him caused many moves till he and my mother separated upon which the moves slowed. I was born in Peterborough and then we moved to Eastbourne followed by Bradford and then a village in Sheffield called Swallownest. It was then at aged 10yrs that my parents separated and we moved to another village in Sheffield called Mosborough. At 21 I bought my first house in a village called Whitwell in Derbyshire but soon got divorced so moved back to Mosborough where I still live and have no intention of moving away from. So in answer to your questions 1. No 2. 0 miles 3. 90 miles
At least, as a Londoner, I've only ever bought "doer-uppers" that nobody else wanted or could live in ... Now I'm converting part of our place for holiday makers
No (lived in Plymouth for 7 years and then in Greece. Will no doubt end up back in Devon/Cornwall) 0 (now live across the road from the back of where we lived when I was a kid) 12 (bit of a technicality as the nearest hospital is Salisbury)
