WANTED - Piece of cargo floor

Need to get to the fuel sender, so i want to cut a hole in the floor to get at it. I will be needing a piece of cargo floor to make a hatch, and would like to know if anybody has some going spare? Size wise probably 12 x 10" or bigger if you have bigger, i know these things can go wrong sometimes.

I haven't got what your looking for. Can you not fab something out of some sheet metal?

 

i have somewhere i can go to get a piece of latebay crgo floor, but i will have to cut it out and it is a while away from here so i was going to see if anyone was up for rooting a bit out.

I have a few odd bits kicking about, will check the size on Tuesday and get back to you,

 

just in case you haven't considered it, I'm sure the floor profile is different to the bit over the engine.

 

i hadnt considered that, but now you mention it, it does ring a bell that the spacings are different...
Maybe i will have to chop out of an old shell.

i was thinking i could just cut it very carefully and neatly and just use the cut out for the infill.

The profile is indeed different. 10" x 12" sounds a bit big? 6" x 6" or maybe 8" x 8" more like it. I have a bus I can cut up Phil £10 posted?
