  3. Matty, that's spot on.

    An additional question applied to one of my clients during an Ni inspection where I worked regularly every month, was did I advertise my services and make myself available for hire elsewhere. My business phone line and a basic phone book entry answered that one.

    I can recommend self employment, after 18 years I've not looked back. It may seem risky but if you can offer a good service any risk is spread over a number of clients. Far better than the insurance I took out whilst employed for fear of redundancy, it only lasted 6 months before I realized that is was for mugs.

    Go for it and give it a try, you will work longer hours but at least you have the direct benefit ;)

  8. My son has just got this position and starts on Monday, a great releaf after being unemployed for just over 3 months. A big thank you to Mat and co at sussexkampers for giving him a chance.
