As I've stated countless times before on this forum you need to be far more specific about the age of your Bus and model when it comes to the sliding door locks or you'll end up with the wrong ones!
LHD is a start but you need to state when exactly it was built or the chassis number so it can be dated. Also you need to determine if it is a camper or a panel that has been converted to a camper as the locks differ between the two.

 

Jeez nothing like helping a feller out is there. Thanks for the tip I guess. So I have a late bay tintop bus 1976 to be precise and a microbus also A Californian import. However I have an early door. From an early westie but no other info apart from that.

Therein lies the problem. Depending on the age of the door you will need either:
221 843 654 = Remote control lock up to chassis 210 2300 000
221 843 654 B = Remote control lock from chassis 211 2000 001
221 843 654 A = Remote control lock from chassis 214 2000 001
There are also three different central locks according to date of door.

 

Would the door have a part number somewhere?

Just messaged the person who I brought the door off. Doesn't have bus any more but has these pics of the mech. Can't make out the number could you help me identify?

Can you not buy those off him? or has he sold them?
Central lock blow up picture looks like 211 843 604 B = up to chassis 210 2300 000. This fits Panel/Camper/Microbus
The remote control lock picture looks like the Camper/Microbus one, so 221 843 654.

 

So do they come together or buy both separate to combine?

If it's any help mine is 211 843 654D

 

How does it compare with the photo above?

 

The 3 rods/levers are the same but the front is a flat metal plate rather than a catch surrounded by rubber(?).

The lock is a knurled metal wheel rather than a plastic lever.

211 843 654 D is for Panel vans only.
You have confirmed that this is different from the pictured one above. This backs up my view that the pictured one is 221 843 654 (Kombis/Campers/Microbuses).
Therefore Ash 9889 needs to find 221 843 654 and 211 843 604 B.
