Saw this on an air-cooled Facebook group. Some upholsterer does a nice range of Weber IDF covers to 'keep water etc out of the stacks'. What???? Wouldn't these be massively restrictive?
Presumably meant for those times when you are showing off your engine on a rainy day at a show or some such nonsense... shutting the engine lid would look much better though...
Perfect to stop little children and other Herberts dropping coins and other nonsense into your engine at shows
If you have a baja beetle in the UK you might have to use these when you park to keep rain out. With skill its a lottery as to whether the engine fills up with petrol or rain water otherwise...
