Vw type4 heat exchangers

Hi there got a pair of heat exchangers with the oval ports could I convert to fit on square port heads by cutting the oval part off cheers

 

If you're really good at engineering and measuring then anything is possible. I wouldn't bother though. The new lugs would have to be level and the studs would all have to line up correctly. It's up to you but you may end up just destroying a nice set of exchangers

Yes you can, chop the top bit off and ensure they are flat

 

I would flog yours and buy good ones that you need
