Just thought I would put this one up here.
The Simply VW event on 12th surrounded by a camp out.

I've been to the Simply VW part before, but might actually try and make it to the campout this year.

But does it clash with Keith's field? o_O

If I'm honest, I hope so... that will mean Keith's isn't on the weekend before when I have to go to a wedding on the Sunday, and I can then ditch Simply VW and spend the weekend Camping in the Cotswolds. Sadly, I think this is probably not going to be the case

    did you decide

  11. I'm having an impromptu Saturday away so looked at possibly camping and visiting the show on Sunday bearing in mind I hate shows , will this 'gathering' renew my enthusiasm ??

Not 100% certain I want to sit in a field at an organized event and pay handsomely for the privilege when I know a pub with a free field and good beer ....

I'm contemplating coming down on Sunday and to cheer @Lasty's Yorkshire side up, the tickets with a VW are £16 each and include
    (Off their web page)
Participant and visitor tickets will include entrance to the rest of the Beaulieu attraction, including the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Little Beaulieu, World of Top Gear, Beaulieu Abbey and its grounds and gardens.

  19. I'm possibly coming down on Saturday afternoon so for a night in a field with porta loos I'll need a weekend camping pass . A brief scan of the website is 58 quid and yes , there's a walk around the museum although to be fair I've seen better ....
The "Top Gear" attraction was tired last time , can't believe they're still touting it !

I was wondering where the £58 came from and assumed number of peeps not overnight :). I've not been to Beaulieu museum, is it worth it?
