how often do you buy Volksworld or Camper and Bus or Camper and Commercial, i used to by 1 a month religiously but with money even tighter and so much stuff on the net do people still bother or buy less or am i just a tight b******d. ???
I used to buy one a month but I don't now because they're all a bit samey. You are tight though - at least, that's what everyone's been telling me.
the wife got me a yrs subscription to camper and bus it for my birthday. However you are not missing anything special. There are only 2 stories in it every month. story 1 - a company has made a flagship bus and sold it to someone but if you want one like it ring this number story 2 - someone buys a van, takes it to this company to fix the body, then this company for spraying then another campany for interior. Repeat until bored
i know im getting a proper skip monkey, just installed an old cold water tank on the roof rack so i dont have to pay for campsite showers. cant brake too hard though.......i too thought they get abit samey. but its a job for somebody and cant take away the hard work people put in to content and the vehicles that go into them . but i am getting a tight git.
I subscribe to Camper and Bus, Volksworld and Hayburner - I like them all but I must say I'm enjoying Hayburner at the moment, some great variety & its nice to see Ned supporting us tlb' guys and printing articles from regulars off here
Just got my new Hayburner, only had a thumb through but looking forward to having a good read! Used to buy the others but not of recent due to them being a bit samey like you say but if I see something I like when browsing at my local library (WH SMITHS OR SAINSBURYS) then I will buy to have a proper read...

Use to get camper and bus mag every month but I got fed up looking at builders vans on there and not real vans.
This thread's just reminded to subscribe to Hayburner! Agree, the mags are just going round in circles. Buy that Keep your bus alive when it comes round..
I gave up my subscription this year as felt it was all getting very repetitive. The how to section has been based on that T4 for ages and I got bored of it. Didnt even open the last 2 that came through the door. Just read Hayburner now.
i stoped buying them , i just read them in the shops now , and they do to much on shiney show vans not enough on restoration and the average man on the scene, owen nw
