The time has come to move my camper van on. I've had it around 5 years and she's been a joy to own. She's a 1972 Devon conversion crossdresser model. The following is a brief overview of the van but as with any classic vehicle, you need to view to get the full picture. Exterior The bodywork finished in black and cream is in good condition as you can see by the pictures. There are small areas that at some point would need attention, rear corner, headlight surrounds and the odd scab here and there. A nice touch is the chrome deluxe trim and chrome rails on the pop top. Wheels are standard steels recently powder coated with moon hubs and new tyres all round. The underside is in good condition. The Devon pop top is in amazing condition, no leaks or rips. The roof rack will be included in the sale. All in all, a very tidy looking van. Mechanics The engine is a 1600 dual port which has been regularly serviced to keep it ticking along nicely. Recently fitted a stainless steel exhaust which has a great tone. No hesitation on taking her on long trips including Cornwall, Dorset and Belgium. Disc brakes at the front and drums on the rear which where overhauled last year with new drums and shoes. Slightly lowered all round with an adjustable front beam. Interior We have always had an awning so never wanted all the cooker and sink inside the van so she has a full width rock n roll bed which is so comfortable. Leather front seats with electric drivers side make long trips nice and comfortable. A very useful buddy seat which doubles up for storage. Overhead locker for storage with two reading lights built in. Some nice touches to the cockpit including chrome add ons and a cool Motolite Porsche steering wheel. Extras include and gas heater for those chilly evenings. Drop down DVD player with wireless headphones, CD player with amp. Other Being a 1972, she is tax exempt. Mot is until July 2018. Got some spares that will be included in the sale and also a Bluebird windscreen cover for when you are camping. Looking for £11,995 Ono. Viewing more than welcome. Based in Gillingham, Kent. Any questions, fire them over. I'll get back to you asap. Thank you.
