visible security devices

  1. Hi, I'm thinking of buying some form of "walk away/on by" anti theft thing. The steering wheel disk that I fancied is too small for a stock steerer, so what advice do you have and where from. I did think about a wheel clamp but probably not practical for a constant off/on situation - I might just try and drive off with the thing still fitted after a trying day at the seaside...Help!!

A flashing LED on the dash is a good visual item. Then it looms like you have an alarm system.

Also try stoploc pro. I fit mine on the peddles. You can find them cheaper on eBay.

Sent from my iLife 4 suite of applications.

  3. Disklok's have a large size which fits steering wheels unto 45cm, won't this fit?

I've got one fitted to my land rover and they're highly regarded

  4. What he said ^^^ (but one) but get two so you can have a more visible one on the steering as well. (Much more difficult to remove one from the pedals I reckon).
    Cheers
