Bought it a few months ago and have been working my way through several snagging jobs: Gear lever tube seized solid in the headset. Front brake activator seized solid in the back plate. Wrong brake shoes fitted in the rear drum. Rear brake adjuster sheared off in the threaded guide. No oil in the gearbox. Sorted those, whilst trying to remember how these little scooters work. Now at the stage where the engine goes back in.
Lashed up a temp fuel supply and kicked it over. Huge bang, puff of smoke and an exhaust blown off it's manifold.. I'm guessing either points need adjusting (easy) or the stator is faulty/moved (less easy). Maybe even a faulty ignition coil?
