In a true communist state ...... unfortunately this won't happen because it is not a perfect world. Looks at China and Russia - the new elite is created because people in power always want more than anyone else.
who would of thought that the ruskys would Make a Moskvich car that looks normal by today’s standards … Doesn’t look like them old cars that four blokes in long black leather coats would jump out of and arrest you for just holding a camera in red square .
Don't know ,but I bet you do .or have you forgotten as well ,it doesn't matter if you can't remember, there's a constant destruction of the NHS going on right under our noses
Always has been, always will be. Those who want to be in power will continue to blame those in power. Those in power will continue to blame those who were in power last. Whilst the levels of waste go completely unchecked, the decline will continue.
I’d rather have someone in power who’s ethos is to do the best for the people of the country rather than a bunch of self serving opportunists who’s ethos is that we are just a means of producing wealth for them and their friends. All this “they are all the same” bullMarmite is exactly that and feeds the apathy that allows these theiving criminal parasites to succeed! No one side is perfect but I’d rather have someone looking after my interests and that of people like me than those just taking money off me and giving it away to the rich! So no, flawed they may be but id vote Labour all day and be proud that I’d done something to help myself, my family and all the other normal people just trying to get by and have a comfortable life rather than being robbed left right and centre by the privileged and be expected to thank them for it. It’s very possible that those who don’t really feel the pain don’t actually understand it and so it doesn’t actually matter to them and they can view both sides with some measure of disdain And possibly to them they are all the same. Your time will inevitably come unfortunately I’m afraid!
We’ve got a labour council. Anyone believing they’d be any better, or have anyone but themselves in mind, should come and spend a month in Bristol.
Presumably voted in by the majority of Bristolians who would prefer to give a Labour council the opportunity to prioritise social/community initiatives rather than the slash and burn tendencies of a Tory council? Whenever I've go to Bristol it always feels like a youthful, vibrant place, plenty going on and generally accepting of people and the differing needs they have Perhaps that's just the modern Bristol that the majority of Bristolians want? Edit It's not actually a Labour Council in the true sense, they don't hold the majority of seats. https://www.bristol.gov.uk/council-...he-lord-mayor/political-makeup-of-the-council The current political representation on the council is: Conservative: 14 Green: 24 Labour: 24 Liberal Democrat: 6 Knowle Community Party: 2 I would guess that your main angst is with the significant influence of the Green party, based on the seats they hold.
The mayor is labour and has the casting vote on every decision. He can and does over rule every single other councillor. Even Bristol has recently voted to bin off the role of mayor completely. Call it what you want but it’s a labour council. So far in the last 4 years they have spunked £50m on an energy company that went bust, returned SEND funding to central government because they couldn’t decide what to spend it on, closed every public loo, spunked £100m and counting redecorating and renaming a concert hall, have just signed another multi billion “deal” with Ameresco, moved the arena to the arse end of nowhere (and then done nothing towards actually getting it built) etc etc. You’re right. Bristol is labour through and through. You could put a red rosette on a dog turd and it’d get voted in. Just like you lot can’t understand why people vote Tory; some folk can’t understand why you lot are so venomously sure labour would be any better. Get it now?
