USA size plates

    My old van,i had the no.Plates on door hinges on the bottom of the bumpers,flipped up for shows and camping,but down for driving.
    Seemed ok for the mot ,might do it again...

    I just want a Square one on the back that doesn't overhang the lid like @rickyrooo1 's does.

    And yes it does annoy me that it hangs down as far as it does. I am tempted to put another one like the puck one on, naughty but meh

    This is the exact problem I'd like to avoid. A teeny bit smaller and all would be well, but we have to jump to a really obvious tiny one.

    You're trying to fit a square shape in an oblong hole, it's not designed to have a square number plate in it.

    And it's always going to look like you've got the wrong shape number plate
     
  9. You need to find someone who is willing to do a custom size/shape but with full size correct UK font. A bit like a rover 75 plate is shaped to fit

    You say that but find a pic of an prototype bay with a single line number plate.

    It's nothing to do with earlys or lates it's just the shape of the depression and the shape of the plate, not that the shape of your number plate has anything to do with me. :)

    I think my engine lid number plate area is a bit squarer than a late bay. :)
