  1. Hi Guys,

I'm in of urgent help. My camper is being photographed for a mag feature on monday and i've been asked to find an urban/tough looking back drop for the photoshoot. i live in cardiff.

i immediately thought of the metal smelters on Rover way (Docks Road), but they have declined becausse of bloody H&S!

anyone know of a disused factory or something that will fall into the Urban/tough looking category???

    help needed!

    Nathan

Try the docks, failing that, try Barry Docks.

Your issue is most of the unoccupied sites are post 1980's industrial estate type building that look decrepit, but fairly new.

If you can get access, some of the gun emplacements between Barry and Penarth are cool - then up the A470 I guess.

  9. ye i presumed that i would be told to turn up at somewhere on a certain day, but apparently not. i do all the leg work, the photographer gets paid and i get nothing, lol.

i will try the site out. it looks a good potential. the biggest issue will be getting access for the camper - not just a man with a camera :)

i'm waiting for a response from funky monkey :)

i'm heading down barry docks this evenign to scout out a few places :)
