Unbelievable!......

I over took something today!

I mean......it was a double decker bus......and it was only doing 45 mph......but I was doing 50mph uphill on the A31!

Overtaking.......It's one of those things I thought I had to try once .........But whilst it was exciting at the time, I reckon I actually like it better in the slow lane

i find using a imaginary whip helps its gives a extra 10bhp at least

I overtook someone last year on the M1, in a ford focus. I remember the build up and then when we passed it
my wife noticed it had a puncture. :-[

the worse thing is believing you can overtake someone, pulling out, getting alongside and then realising that it aint gonna happen, just as a queue of cars build up behind you and the fella you are trying to overtake wont slow down .......

 

I once overtook a Porsche on the M25, doing around 80. I couldn't help but point and laugh as I did it.

Still that was a year ago when petrol was much cheaper. I can't afford to overtake anyone anymore. Besides my missus has made me agree to a 65mph limit when her and the kids are aboard. I shouldn't have mentioned that our feet were in the front crumple zone...

 

Love it when Tilly goes into gazelle mode. So graceful, and the look on the face of the cyclist is something to see.

I often overtake people in my Splitty as it is a Microbus so it is light but in the Kemperink, pah I can only overtake road signs and they don't really count : ;D
